Founded in 1988 by Mr. Michael Becher as an one-man-business, Bewotec has developed into a rapidly growing company.
In 1996 Bewotec was transformed into a Limited Liability Company with two shareholders (the new shareholder being Mr. Bernhard Koller).
Since 1994 we have been expanding into international markets from our headquarters near Cologne/Germany. In 1995 we became the market leader in the German-speaking part of Europe and since then we have been strengthening our position steadily. Since 1997 we have been developing international, foreign-language versions of our software, which are adjusted to the specific needs of individual countries. Today our products can be found in many countries and we do not only have our own office building but also several foreign branch offices.
In November 2006, Bewotec UK Ltd. opened a branch in Croydon, UK.
Bewotec excels in constancy and steady growth not only in Europe. Our professional and experienced project management as well as our excellently trained staff guarantee that your investment is save.
Our staff is our most important capital. As we always want to provide our clients with optimum solutions we choose our team very carefully in order to find a perfect mix of university graduates, tourism experts and professional software developers. We attach great importance to the constant training of our staff and make sure that their knowledge is always up to date.
Our range of products covers various software modules to satisfy every client requirement. Our products are in keeping with the latest technological development (Windows, C++, SQL, HTML, XML, Java, .NET). We only use the latest software tools for our programs. Our key products are Jack - the mid- and back office system for Travel Agencies, Vera – the administrative software for smaller and mid sized Tour Operator and DaVinci, designed for larger Tour Operator.

Seit Jahren arbeiten wir mit Jack Plus und man braucht eigentlich nicht viel sagen: die Bedienung ist sehr einfach und die Buchhaltung selbsterklärend. Man muss über „soll und haben“ nicht unbedingt Bescheid wissen; mit ein wenig Praxis zeigt einem Jack, auf welches Konto ein bestimmter Betrag gebucht wird. Es sind keine großartigen Schulungen notwendig.
Besonders gut sind auch die vielen Statistiken. Per Knopfdruck erhalten wir den Umsatz pro Veranstalter, Umsatz pro Jahr, Monat oder Tag und vieles mehr. Praktisch sind auch die Terminhinterlegung, die Geburtstagserinnerung, die Übernahme des 3-Letter-Codes und die Vorfertigung von Dokumenten.
Ein großes Lob auch an den Support (Fr. Trimmel) in Österreich. Die Bearbeitung unserer Anliegen geht immer sehr schnell, insbesondere durch das Aufschalten auf unseren PC.
