Starting from 01/02/06 Jack will become even more independent while you are abroad. For some years already, Bewotec offers the possibility to use Jack on a terminal server environment.

This means that Jack can be installed on a server at Bewotec or at the client's branch with having access to the same data via an internet connection. This is a very comfortable, quick and save solution suitable for everybody who runs more than one office. More and more clients want to have access to their data even when they are at home or on holiday, says Stefan Dederichs, Head of Sales Bewotec Germany.

Remote access for our clients is based on Netviewer software solutions. We wanted to find a solution that guarantees our clients almost flexibility with as few restrictions as possible.
At the same time, however, data should remain with the client. Now Netviewer has modified one of its products in such a way that it is a perfect match for the Bewotec target group.
Even with a local installation Jack2Office by Netviewer gives you access to Jack from every internet PC in the world. The program is installed on the computer in your office. A small access module is stored for example on an USB stick. You can put the USB stick in a PC and from here you have access to your office.
This does not only work for the administrative software Jack but for all progams and data of your PC. This offers a great advantage over internet based systems, explains Stefan Dederichs. On the one hand data remains in the client's office, it does not have to leave the office, on the other hand he has full access to all programs and data of his PC. Security is guaranteed by OPDV-certificate (legal standards and supervision of data processing) and the Darmstadt Fraunhofer Institut für sichere Telekooperation (institute for save telecooperation).

Every Jack2Office session is encrypted with the 128 bit blowfish method. This meets the SSL standard. A specially installed server located at our head office in Germany manages the licences.
